Tikkun means restoration.
Healing isn’t a single fix — it’s an ongoing practice of repair and care. That idea shapes every session at Tikkun Integrative Motion Massage: medically-informed bodywork for injury and chronic pain, relaxation massage for everyday stress, and licensed esthetic treatments for skin health, all under one dual-licensed practice in Katy, TX.
Whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic tension, or simply due for maintenance, sessions are tailored to how your body moves and where it needs support.
Licensed Esthetician
Regina Vazquez, MBA, LMT, LE, CPT
Dual-Licensed Clinical Practitioner, Certified Personal Trainer & OIF/OEF Veteran
“Movement is Life. Recovery is Essential.”
With over 30 years of hands-on experience across the health, wellness, and fitness spectrum, my life’s work centers on one core belief: our bodies are engineered to move naturally, and neither age nor injury should define how we live.
As a multi-sport athlete, certified personal trainer, dual-licensed massage therapist, and esthetician, I view human performance through a complete 360-degree lens. I understand the demands placed on the body at every stage of life — and precisely what it takes to rebuild, repair, and maintain optimal function for the long haul.
Streamlined Care & Recovery for Fellow Veterans
As a United States Military Veteran who proudly served during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), I intimately understand the unique physical and mental toll of military service. Navigating service-connected injuries, chronic pain, and complex healthcare systems can be frustrating and overwhelming. At Tikkun Integrative Motion Massage, my goal is to eliminate those friction points for my fellow service members — offering a streamlined, compassionate space built specifically for deep physical recovery, injury rehabilitation, and total body refresh.
Elevating Youth & Student Athlete Performance
Peak athletic performance is only half the battle — structured, proactive recovery is what truly separates good athletes from great ones. Specializing in youth and young adult bodywork, I advocate for building smart recovery habits early. Young competitors are pushing their limits harder than ever, often without the foundational soft-tissue maintenance needed to prevent overuse injuries and burnout. I help bridge the gap between intense performance and effective recovery, ensuring young athletes stay resilient, balanced, and capable of competing at the highest level.
Restoring Mobility & Independence for Seniors
A loss of mobility should never be accepted as an inevitable consequence of aging. I am deeply passionate about working with older adults who have lost the functional range of motion, balance, or independence they once enjoyed. Through gentle, targeted soft-tissue therapy and joint mobilization, I help seniors ease chronic stiffness, restore comfortable movement, and reclaim an active, vibrant lifestyle.
Clinical Excellence Backed by Executive Leadership
Holding a Master of Business Administration (MBA) alongside my clinical licenses, I bring an elevated standard of professionalism, structure, and operational integrity to your care. Whether coordinating physician-directed treatment plans, navigating insurance superbills, or providing transparent maintenance memberships, my practice combines top-tier clinical expertise with a seamless, highly organized client experience.

Pre-Care & Post-Care Protocols
Essential guidelines for our advanced esthetic and clinical treatments, to help you get the best results safely.
Advanced MicroNeedling (CIT)
Pre-Care
- Avoid retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, and active exfoliating topicals for 3–5 days prior to treatment.
- Refrain from direct, unprotected sun exposure and tanning beds for at least 2 weeks.
- Do not wax, use depilatory cream, or undergo laser treatments on the target area for 7 days.
- Arrive with clean skin free of makeup, heavy creams, and perfumes.
Post-Care
- Do not wash your face or apply makeup for 12–24 hours post-procedure (gentle cleanser after 24 hrs).
- Avoid strenuous workouts, heavy sweating, saunas, and pools for 48 hours — micro-channels are still open.
- Apply broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30+ daily and avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks.
- Avoid active ingredients (vitamin C, retinols, acids) for 3–5 days until fully re-epithelialized.
Professional Chemical Peel
Pre-Care
- Discontinue prescription retinoids and over-the-counter exfoliants 5–7 days before the peel.
- Avoid waxing, electrolysis, or hair removal creams in the treatment zone for 5 days prior.
- Tell your esthetician about any history of cold sores so precautions can be discussed.
Post-Care
- Do not pick, peel, or pull at flaking skin — premature removal can cause scarring or discoloration.
- Use only recommended gentle, hydrating cleansers and barrier-repair moisturizers for 5–7 days.
- Apply physical SPF 30+ every 2 hours if outdoors; avoid direct UV exposure entirely.
- Skip hot showers, steam rooms, and intense cardio that induces heavy sweating for 48 hours.
Clinical Dermaplaning
Pre-Care
- Discontinue strong active acids and retinols 48 hours prior to the service.
- Arrive with skin free of active inflammatory acne breakouts in areas to be treated.
- Postpone treatment if experiencing active cold sores, sunburn, or a compromised skin barrier.
Post-Care
- Apply hydrating serums (like hyaluronic acid) and nourishing moisturizers to maximize absorption.
- Wear daily broad-spectrum SPF 30+, as freshly exposed skin is especially sensitive to UV rays.
- Avoid abrasive scrubs, facial brushes, or chemical exfoliants for 3–5 days post-treatment.
Clinical Massage & Bodywork
Pre-Care
- Hydrate well before your session to aid tissue manipulation and metabolic waste release.
- Avoid heavy meals immediately before your appointment; a light snack an hour prior is fine.
- Tell your therapist about any pain points, injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions at intake.
Post-Care
- Keep increasing water intake over the next 24–48 hours to support lymphatic drainage and recovery.
- Avoid strenuous, high-impact exercise right after deep tissue or orthopedic bodywork — walk instead.
- Apply ice or heat as directed by your clinician for specific acute or chronic conditions.
Structured care for referred clients.
Our Medical Massage Therapy & Rehabilitation category includes a specialized session structured for clients referred by a physician.
As an OIF/OEF veteran herself, Regina built this practice to make that process straightforward for fellow service members.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral for medical massage?
Our Medical Massage Therapy & Rehabilitation services are typically structured around a physician referral. Call us before booking so we can review your paperwork and structure your treatment plan.
Can I combine massage and a facial in one visit?
Yes — our Hybrid Dual-License Combo sessions pair the two. The Ultimate Tikkun Glow & Restore combines a facial with a full massage, and Express Refresh & Unwind pairs a shorter skincare treatment with targeted bodywork.
How do I prepare for micro-needling, a peel, or dermaplaning?
Each advanced skincare treatment has its own pre- and post-care guidelines — see the Prep & Aftercare section above for the full protocol before you book.
What should I expect at my first visit?
Your first visit starts with a short intake conversation about your goals, health history, and any areas of focus, so your session — medical, relaxation, or esthetic — can be tailored to you.
